Kenneth Martin - The Late Paintings [Serpentine Gallery exhibition catalogue, 1985]

Martin, like Sol Lewitt, created rule sets and recipes for creating his artworks - as such, he his a proto-gen artist, albeit with the analogue methods of painting and drawing. His work is still remains very graphic, however.
