Gerd Jansen, Chopin - Illustrationen. 1975/2020

Jansen, unable to pursue music, turned to creating systematic, music-inspired pictures in 1975. His first works were illustrations for Chopin’s pieces, constructed from musical models to develop composition rules.

And they all look generative!
